Affiliate disclosure.

Last updated · April 30, 2026

In plain language

When you buy a product through a link on Mirrelle — whether on this website, in our mobile app, or in any communication from us — we may receive a small commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you. The price you pay is identical to going directly to the retailer's own site.

Why we disclose this

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) require us to clearly and conspicuously disclose any material connection between Mirrelle and the brands or products we recommend. The UK Advertising Standards Authority's CAP Code requires the same for our UK audience, as does the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (Directive 2005/29/EC) for our EU users. We follow these rules because we believe transparency builds trust — and because we agree with the spirit of the laws.

How affiliate links work on Mirrelle

Our stylist agent builds outfit recommendations from a curated catalog of real, in-stock products. Each product card may contain an affiliate-tracked link. When you tap a product:

  1. You're taken to the retailer's own website (or, on iOS, an in-app browser).
  2. The retailer recognizes that you arrived from Mirrelle via an affiliate-network identifier in the URL (for example, an Awin awinmid parameter or an Impact irclickid).
  3. If you complete a purchase within the retailer's tracking window (typically 24 hours to 30 days, depending on the merchant), the retailer pays an affiliate commission to us — a percentage of the order value.
  4. You pay the standard retailer price. There is no markup, surcharge, or hidden fee on top of what you would pay going direct.

Networks and partners we work with

Mirrelle participates in (or applies to participate in) the following affiliate networks and direct partner programs. This list may change over time as we expand our catalog or wind down underperforming programs.

  • Awin (UK / EU / US fashion merchants)
  • Impact (US-focused direct-to-consumer brands)
  • ShareASale (broad apparel and accessories)
  • Rakuten Advertising (US and international)
  • Amazon Associates Program (apparel and beauty)
  • Direct merchant programs (e.g., individual brand-run affiliate panels)

Our editorial independence

Affiliate commissions do not influence our styling recommendations. Our AI stylist selects products based on:

  • Your style profile (built from your swipe-quiz preferences)
  • Your stated budget
  • Your favorite brands, if you've shared them
  • Mood, occasion, weather, and any free-text guidance you provide
  • Whether the product is currently in stock at the retailer

We do not boost a product in your feed because it pays a higher commission. We do not hide products that pay zero commission if they are the right recommendation. We do not accept paid product placement, sponsored slots, or "pay to be recommended" arrangements from brands. If we ever introduce sponsored content in the future, we will clearly and conspicuously label it as such, separately and in addition to this disclosure.

Amazon Associates specific disclosure

Mirrelle is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Cookies and tracking

Affiliate networks place cookies in your browser when you click an affiliate link. These cookies allow the retailer to attribute your purchase back to Mirrelle. They typically expire between 24 hours and 30 days after the click, depending on the merchant. You can disable or clear these cookies via your browser settings, but doing so will mean we are not credited for any purchase you make — and may affect our ability to keep Mirrelle free for you. For more information on what we collect and how to manage it, see our Privacy Policy.

Your choice

You are never obligated to purchase through Mirrelle's links. If you prefer to search for a product directly on the retailer's website without going through our affiliate link, you are free to do so — and we encourage you to do whatever feels right.
